Micro-Chipping

Micro-Chipping

Dayton Valley Veterinary Hospital currently utilizes “HomeAgain” micro-chipping.  A small microchip (about the size of a grain of rice) is placed under the skin.  If your pet wanders away from home or is picked up, most shelters and veterinarians have a scanner to read the microchip.  They then have access to your contact information and you will be called immediately so your pet can be safely returned home.
